only needed with a spell

castsequence

As of patch 2.3.2 has anyone noticed if the corrections to /castsequence were made? There was supposed to be a change that was borking many hunter shot macros. On another note, I noticed that my castsequence macro form my lock was not working in arena but would work fine on mobs. is this normal?

    /cast will toggle a cast now if hit it more than once, to turn off that feature, use "!" in front of the spell name and it will not toggle it.

So,

/castsequence reset=3 Steady Shot, !Auto Shot

Works again via spamming, where as in 2.3.1, it would toggle Autoshot on and off, so you had to mash it to force it to toggle on.

Here's the macro I use:

    reset=3

Someone once told me that I should set the value to whatever my weapon speed was. That didn't work out so well. Making it shorter doesn't work at all. I have mine set to 3 as well, but the rest of the macro is a bit different. Why does 3 seem to work better than your actual weapon speed?

The "!" is only needed with a spell that can be toggled, ie Autoshot. Without the "!" each time through the macro the state of the spell would change. Autoshot on then autoshot off ...

    if you have the Sunfury Bow of the Pheonix your reset # is 5. i found this out the hard way with my auto shot macro with auto, steady,auto, arcane was all messed up...

how does that macro work. there is no cast sequence reset and it is missing other things....here is my macro.....

/castsequence reset=5 auto shot, steady shot, auto shot, arcane shot, auto shot, steady shot, auto shot, arcane shot

how can i improve it... i do have another one that has multi shot in it if there is no CC being used....

This is where the ! comes in. You need to add one before each instance of auto shot.

You put auto shot in the macro to be sure that auto shot fires off between specials otherwise the specials could delay auto shot.
